About me - About the Idea

A lover of moody visuals

There’s something about the look of 35mm film that captivates me. In an era of digital precision, a certain magic feels lost, an intangible texture, an essence just beyond reach. My goal with videography is to bring that missing layer back to weave it into the visuals, the rhythm of the story, the soul of the frame.

I’m drawn to that golden, fleeting hour when shadows stretch and the world feels cinematic. I want my clients to exist not just in a frame, but in a film set in their world, that tells a story of its own. I want small businesses to feel like portals to hidden worlds, each doorway a threshold to something unseen.

At its core, my work is about bringing wonder into the everyday, through evocative lighting, rich cinematic grading, and camera movements that don’t just capture a setting, but breathe with life.

I am a father, a collector of books, a lover of cinematography, and a citizen of both New Zealand and Britain.

James Bradley.
